“Cerca” is a fable about lack of communication, a poetic and profound reflection on interpersonal relationships and individualism, desires and emotions. From a literary point of view, it stands out for its narrative simplicity and the internal mechanism of the story, which captures the parallelism between the actions of the protagonists: a duck and a rabbit who live closed in their solitude; In that sense, the work invites the reader not to turn their back on others, “depriving themselves of the possibility of sharing the simplest and happiest moments in life,” explains the author.
On an aesthetic level, Natalia Colombo mixes various techniques, from painting with acrylics to collage, in addition to designing her own typography. He also takes special care in the treatment of light and uses visual resources that allow him to play with the concepts of movement and symmetry, without forgetting the combination of colors, textures and materials, which give style and personal character to the work as a whole.
